Enhancing a castle’s elegance with color and quality
Magna, one of the world’s largest and most diversified automobile suppliers, needed new windows for its majestic chateau-style corporate headquarters—units whose beauty would endure tough Canadian winters.
“Magna selected Marvin because of our reputation and ability to handle a project of this magnitude, and because we’d stand behind it with our warranty. In the early stages of a project, all companies go in saying ‘Yes, we can do that,’ and worry about pulling it off later. We go in confident about what we can provide,” said Greg Brown, Marvin Commercial Sales Representative.
Project Highlights
-
Casemaster and Awning frames were made with an extruded aluminum Evergreen clad to complement the building's gray limestone exterior, while the sash featured Pebble Gray.
-
Color was important here, so a special green-tinted glass was utilized in the Casemaster windows as well as the Awnings that crowned them.
-
For an elegant look on the inside, units feature sleek, polished brass handles and locks.
